performers with groups such as The Sherelles, Canned Heat and the Cyrkle
broadened their horizons and continued their careers by forming a group called
"WHEEZE".
Two pairs of brothers kept the foundation of this six piece group strong.
UNCLE
MARC
and
BOB WOLIN, brought up in the music machine of NYC, played piano, trombone
and guitar.
ROB
and JEFF
HUSTON. from Ohio played guitar and
drums. RICK
MAY added his Hollywood bass
and THE
BIG K (Kris Johnson)
flashed his song and dance in a most entertaining way
due to his long line of experience on Broadway stage.
WHEEZE lived together for 3 years in an old 2-story house at the corner of
Franklin and La Brea (now long gone) in Hollywood
where they lived and worked together on their theatrical Rock and Roll
extraveganza.
They played just about every Hollywood club that existed at the time, from the
famous Whiskey A Go-Go to the Starwood & beyond.
Their hours long shows had over 50 original show orientated tunes and they
guaranteed to open everyone's hearts up and deepen their love of rock and roll.
It seemed like such a modern age!
WHEEZE LOVES YOU!
